One Championship fights available on multiple platforms as MMA outfit launches mobile app

SINGAPORE — Fight fans can have all-day access to One Fighting Championship matches through the Super App.

The app, launched on Monday at the Marina Bay Sands, will provide access to the fights of the Asian MMA outfit and will also broadcast fights live.

"Everyone can now celebrate Asia's greatest cultural treasure martial arts globally at the palm of your hand," said ONE CEO and founder Chatri Sityodtong.

Though this move could potentially cost ONE revenue when it comes to pay-per-view, it's the least of Sityodtong's worries.

It's also a way of showcasing Asian virtues and culture all over the world, particularly in the UFC-dominated West.

"We believe this is the right way to celebrate martial arts. It's part of our culture, of our history, of our values and it's something that should be celebrated all over the world."

The app is available free on iOS and Android.

"These are your global heroes finally on the global stage," Sityodtong said.
