HOLLY Holm has signed a contract extension with the Ultimate Fighting Championship and the next fight may not be against Ronda Rousey.

Terms of the multi-year deal were not disclosed but apparently the earlier planned Holm-Rousey bantamweight title rematch won’t happen right away.

“I honestly don’t know what we’re going to do,” UFC president White told Lance Pugmire of The LA Times on Monday (Tuesday, Manila time).

“I’ve got to talk to Ronda,” White said. “I haven’t had one business conversation with her since her fight.”

Holm claimed the title with a second-round knockout of previously unbeaten Rousey two months ago.

White seemed convinced the next step should be to arrange a rematch but now it seems the two fighters could face other rivals first.

“We have nothing done yet,” White said.

"We have a lot of work to do."
