LIGHT heavyweight champion Chris Hofmann defeated Arvin Chan in a catchweight 189-pound grudge match in the URCC Fight Night on Saturday at the Valkyrie Pool Club.

Hofmann won by second-round stoppage due to strikes in the match before the main event between actors Baron Geisler and Kiko Matos.

Hofmann was in total control, taking down Chan and hammering strikes before Chan was saved by the bell in the first round.

John Adajar won over Jericho Tomagan after he suffered a shoulder injury in one of the professional fights on the card that included several amateur bouts.
