The Lady Woodpushers actually sealed the title in the 13th round last Saturday with a 4-0 rout of Ateneo and ended its season with a 2.5-1.5 win over University of the Philippines the next day to finish with 44 points in the competitions held at De La Salle’s Enrique Razon Sports Center.
La Salle's Jan Jodilyn Fronda copped her third MVP award while teammate Bernadette Galas won Rookie of the Year honors.
The Lady Maroons finished in second place with 38 points, six points behind the Lady Woodpushers.
In men's play, the Tamaraws, behind season MVP Kevin Mirano, regained the crown with 39.5 points.
It was their seventh title in the last eight seasons for a league-best 14 championships.
The Morayta-based woodpushers overcame a tough challenge from Adamson University, which finished second with 33.5 points.
National University's Austin Literatus is the top rookie in the men's division.
The NU Bullpups, meanwhile, copped the juniors championship, finishing with a 14-round total of 34 points, three points ahead of the Baby Tamaraws.
Daryl Unix Samantila of the Baby Falcons clinched the MVP honors, while the Rookie of the Year honors went to the Bullpups' Jayson Danday.
