FAR Eastern University Cheering Squad hopes its intact core can pull off a perfect run to book a trip back to the top three in the UAAP Cheerdance Competition.
After failing to have a podium finish for two straight years, FEU Cheering Squad skipper Carla Perez is confident they have put in the work and have the right chemistry to break the dry spell on Saturday at the Araneta Coliseum.
A day before the much awaited UAAP CDC, the team captain has only one reminder to her teammates.
"As a captain of FEUCS, 'yung sinasabi ko lang po is 'kaya natin 'to' kasi lahat kami magkakilala na since last year kami pa rin po ang mga members, so alam na namin ang isa't isa," she said.
FEU hopes to top their fourth place finish in last year's competition with 583.5 points, just half a point ahead of fifth placer University of the East.
The cheerdancers from Morayta performed a magic-inspired routine and ended the six-minute number with a magic trick.
