[Eighth of a series]
EIGHTH among eight teams in the UAAP Cheerdance Competition last year, Ateneo looks to make a big jump to a podium place this time.
Blue Babble Battalion skipper Mikaela Arce-Ignacio believes their goal can be achieved.
"We've been training everyday to polish our skills and stunts for the routine," she said.
"Everything has been well thought out, from the theme to the costumes and props and to the actual routine as it is our goal to give the 'whole package' of a performance on the 14th."
"Hopefully that formula will help us reach higher in the ranks," she added, stressing that as last placers, there is no other way but up.
"I think our advantage right now is that we're hungry for it and we want to do much better than last year," said Arce-Ignacio.
"You can expect a well put together routine filled with heart and our one big fight competition."
