There was a mix of emotions on Twitter and Facebook following the victory of the NU Pep Squad that led to #UAAPCDC2015 becoming a trending topic on Twitter. NU fans were obviously delighted with the win, saying that he degree of difficulty did it for the squad.
Congrats NU for being the champion of the uaap cdc. Congrats din UST for gaining the 1st place and UP for the 2nd place.

Cheerleading is all about how difficult you performed the stunt not how beautiful you performed the stunt. Congrats NU! #UAAPCDC2015

NU won because nobody challenged their intensive stunt difficulty. In boxing, you can't steal a belt by playing safe. #UAAPCDC2015

There was also shock and anger especially those who felt that the University of the Philippines Pep Squad or the University of Santo Tomas Salinggawi Dance Troupe should have won the competition.
Oh that was a shocker. #UPPepSquad #2NDRunnerup #UAAPCDC2015

The last time I've seen this amount of shock from tweeps in my TL? When Undertaker went 21 and 1 in Wrestlemania. #UAAPCDC2015

I also can't believe the UST Salinggawi only landed in second place. If NU wins again, despite their error-filled routine... #UAAPCDC2015
