PERPETUAL eyes its sixth straight title as the 2015 NCAA cheerleading competition comes off the wraps on Tuesday at the MOA Arena in Pasay City.

The Altas Perps Squad, who placed second in the National Cheerleading Championship last week, are looking to bag their ninth title in 12 editions of the event.

"Same as the past years, we've prepared the whole year just for this event because we have a tradition to preserve and we want to always make the whole Perpetual Help community proud," said Perpetual Help coach Randolph Rosario.

"We always want to challenge ourselves with new, more difficult stunts and routines because we know that the competition is doing the same and getting stronger year after year," he said.

Looking to finally make it to the top after placing second the past two years are the Arellano University Dancing Cheers.

The Mapua Cheerping Cardinals, last year's third placers and the inaugural winner of the event 11 years ago, will also try to end Perpetual Help’s reign, along with the Lyceum and Jose Rizal Pep Squads, last year's fourth and fifth placers.
