IT’S game over for everybody else as the Far Eastern University Cheering Squad reclaimed the UAAP Cheerdance Competition title on Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
With a thrilling performance of a Super Mario-themed routine, the Tamaraws tallied a total of 702.5 points to regain the title they last won in UAAP season 84.


Elvis Presley-themed National University Pep Squad came in second with 697 points as University of Santo Tomas clinched the last podium position with 684 points.
Adamson got fourth place, while University of the Philippines settled for fifth. Season 86 host University of the East fell all the way to sixth place.
FEU scoops up special awards
Moreover, the De La Salle and Ateneo remained in seventh and eighth positions, respectively.
Apart from the highest honors, the Morayta-based squad also won a couple of special awards, such as best tosses and costume creativity.

On individual elements, UST got the highest in dance category with 374 points, while FEU topped the pyramid rankings and tosses with 88 points and 82.5 points.
The stunts were dominated by NU with 88.5 points but FEU got the nod for the best tumbling passes.
