    MANNY Pacquiao is set to leave for the US by next week as training for his coming title fight with with Errol Spence shifts into high gear.

    The eighth-time world division champion is currently holding training camp in General Santos City, but is set fly out to Los Angeles by July 3

    “Ngayong July 3, para pagdating ko doon hindi na ako mahihirapang mag-adjust,” said Pacquiao, 42, during his special appearance in the third anniversary presentation of the program Power&Play hosted by former PBA Commissioner Noli Eala.

    In order for him to easily adopt with the different time zone between the Philippines and the US, the Filipino boxing great has began to do his training at GenSan during night time.

    Pacquiao said he would be doing his road work at 9 o'clock in the evening, and then after some rest, will troop to the boxing gym to do his training.

    "Sa araw tulog ako," he admitted. "Para pagdating ko sa Amerika, hindi na ako mahihirapan (mag-adjust)."

    Pacquiao's departured for the US gives him at least seven weeks of extensive training for his August 21 title fight against unbeaten Errol Spence at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

    The eight-time world division champion has began light training for the Spence fight as early as the last week of May.
