IS a Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao rematch even in their late 40s on the horizon?
It appears so, even more so now that Mayweather announced he's coming out of retirement to resume his unbeaten boxing career.

In typical Mayweather fashion, the 48-year-old American made the revelation on Saturday, taking some of the limelight away from the WBC welterweight title fight between reigning champion Mario Barrios and challenger Ryan Garcia.
Mayweather, who retired almost a decade ago with a remarkable 50-0 record, said he'll make his ring comeback after his exhibition against former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson on April 25 at the Dominican Republic of Congo.
"I still have what it takes to set more records in the sport of boxing," he said in a statement
"From my upcoming Mike Tyson event to my next professional fight afterwards - no one will generate a bigger gate, have a larger global broadcast audience, and generate more money with each event."
Floyd and Manny, forever rivals
Mayweather's revelation came just seven months after Pacquiao, 47, unretired himself from boxing and challenged Barrios for his WBC title belt, with their bout ending in a majority draw.
The legendary Filipino boxer will return to the ring a week before Mayweather on April 18 when he tangles with former light-welterweight champion Ruslan Provodnikov in a 10-round exhibition at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas.

Pacquiao and Mayweather fought in the biggest fight ever in boxing history back in 2015, which the American won by a close unanimous decision.

His ring return comes amidst rumors of personal financial trouble.
Recently, Mayweather filed a $100 million lawsuit against former advisor Al Haymon and Showtime for allegedly conspiring to hide hundreds of millions in earnings from him
