LESTER Prosper’s goodwill act has caught the attention of no less than boxing great Manny Pacquiao.
Since returning to the country for another tour of duty as Terrafirma import for the PBA Commissioner’s Cup, the 34-year-old Prosper conducted a number of charity works and basketball clinics for the less-fortunate kids around Manila which impressed the former senator.
As a token of appreciation, the ring legend invited the import to be his special guest at ringside for his exihibition fight against South Korean martial artist DK Yoo in Seoul this Sunday.

Prosper is scheduled to leave for Korea on Saturday evening.
“Pinapunta siya ni Boss Manny sa Korea. Puring-puri kasi sa mga ginagawa niyang charity events,” said Prosper’s close friend Ireneo Bautista.
In connection with this, the only eight-division champion is planning to collaborate with the naturalized Indonesian about doing more charity works upon his return to Manila.
The Terrafirma import has done charity works involving kids upon coming back here, and did the rounds of barangays in Sampaloc, San Andres, Pasay, and Marikina.
A mural of Prosper was even made and inaugurated last week at the Anakbayan Basketball Court in Barangay 740 Zone 80.
“We saw the need to have a very nice basketball court para yung mga bata ay ma-inspore maglaro at maging parte ng kanilang buhay ang basketball,” said Bautista.
A similar mural will be put up in Pasay and Marikina.
“We are also partnering with other charity institution para makapag-sponsor kami ng mga aspiring players na gusting mag-aral at maglaro sa kolehiyo,” Bautista added. “We just want to give hope and happiness sa mga bata.”
