MANNY Pacquiao returned to the US for the first time in more than a year when he arrived at the Los Angeles International Airport Sunday night (Monday Manila time) for the two-city media tour of his World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight title fight against Timothy Bradley.
Clad in a red jacket over black pants and leather shoes, the 35-year-old Pacquiao was met by a motley crowd at the Los Angeles International Airport in his first trip back to the US for a fight.
The Filipino ring icon and Bradley clash on April 12 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in a rematch of their controversial 2012 title bout which saw the unbeaten American pull off a controversial split draw to wrest the 147-lbs title belt from Pacquiao.
This will be the first US match for Pacquiao since losing a stunning sixth-round knockout at the hands of rival Juan Manuel Marquez in December of 2012.
Pacquiao and Bradley will face the media in a press conference on Tuesday (Wednesday Manila time) in Los Angeles to kick off the press tour, which will have its second part in New York on Thursday (Friday Manila time).
