TOP Rank Promotions chairman Bob Arum hopes to name the next opponent of Manny Pacquiao in the days before Christmas.
“I hope to come up with a name just before Christmas,” said the 82-year-old Arum from New York on his way to New Jersey for the Guillermo Rigondeaux-Joseph Agbeko super-bantamweight title fight set on Sunday (Manila time).
The long-time boxing promoter already announced an April 12 fight in Las Vegas for the Filipino boxing star shortly after his masterful performance against Brandon Rios in their recent welterweight fight held in Macau.

Arum said the MGM Grand will be the site of the fight after initially considering holding it at Mandalay Bay.
This marks the first time the eight-time world champion is going to fight again in the world’s `Entertainment Capital’ in more than a year since losing a sixth round knockout to Juan Manuel Marquez in the same venue in December of 2012.
“He’s back where he should be,” Arum said of Pacquiao following his 12-round unanimous decision over Rios.
