GOOD news for Rocky fans.
Creed, an offshoot of the popular boxing movie franchise, will be shown in theaters this year.
According to Warner Bros., "In this latest chapter, Rocky Balboa will serve as a trainer to the son of his former rival, Apollo Creed. If you recall, Apollo died in Rocky's arms in Rocky IV."
Sylvester Stallone will be reprising his role as Rocky Balboa while Michael B. Jordan will play the role of Adonis Creed.
Stallone was in Manny Pacquiao's corner during the Filipino world champion's May 2 megafight against Floyd Mayweather Jr. in Las Vegas. The Hollywood actor described Pacquiao as "the best" and even shared words of sympathy after he lost by majority decision.
“MANNY PACQUIAO Without a Doubt the single Bravest, and most EXCITING fighter to ever lace on gloves… No one comes close. SEEN them ALL!”, Stallone tweeted after the fight.
Creed will be screened in theaters on November 25 in the US.
