APPARENTLY, Manila hotels and motels haven't seen this much demand on a non-Valentine's Day.
Sogo's branches in Manila were mostly filled to capacity on Sunday after the popular hotel chain offered pay-per-view of Manny Pacquiao's fight against Floyd Mayweather at no extra charge to customers.
The promo proved to be a big hit.
A check by Spin.ph at one Sogo branch in Quezon City showed there are no more rooms available, with a lot of people still lining up outside hoping to get in.
"Waiting na po. Puno na 'yung mga kwarto dahil sa Pacquiao-Mayweather," said a receptionist.
