MIXED Martial Arts star Conor McGregor directly announced Manny Pacquiao is next in line for him.
The 32-year-old Irish spilled the bean on his Twitter account on Saturday.
“I’m boxing Manny Pacquiao next in the Middle East,” said McGregor, the former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight and lightweight title holder.
But in an interview with ESPN, Audie Attar, manager of McGregor, said the fight isn't a done deal yet, but mentioned it could either be held late in December or by January of next year.
McGregor had an unsuccessful attempt at boxing three years ago when he faced undefeated Floy Mayweather in a 12-round, non-title bout in Las Vegas that turned out to be a blockbuster event both in gate attendance ($55 million) and pay-per-view buys (4.3 million). McGregor lost by technical knockout in the 10th round.

But the result doesn’t seem to deter McGregor, who now turns his sight at the 40-year-old Pacquiao, who just last February signed a deal with Paradigm Sports Management, the same promotional outfit that handles the Irishman.
“It will be a true honour to have faced two of the greatest boxers of the modern era,” added McGregor.
