ALL hell broke loose in Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s exhibition fight against 30-year-old neophyte boxer John Gotti III at the FLA Live Arena in Florida on Monday (Philippine time).
Chaos ensues in Mayweather-Gotti III exhibition bout
In the sixth round, the referee abruptly stopped the match as Gotti III had Mayweather trapped on the ropes.
Gotti III was left furious by the surprise call and kept on throwing punches at Mayweather. This prompted the camps of both boxers to enter the ring and ultimately led to a brawl.
The two fighters escaped the commotion and made their way to the backstage area just as fans stormed into the ring.
Fistfights also ensued among fans all over the venue.

The halted co-main event, billed as "Last Name Matter," featured two prominent family names for two completely different reasons.
Before serving as a boxing trainer at present, Floyd Sr. was a welterweight boxer who particularly excelled for his strategic approaches and defensive prowess in the ring.
Meanwhile, former mixed martial artist John III is the grandson of Gotti Sr. – the infamous boss of the Gambino crime clan from 1985 until his death while imprisoned in 2002.
