LAS VEGAS – Contrary to popular belief, celebrities will still be at ringside of the MGM Grand Garden Arena for the Manny Pacquiao-Timothy Bradley trilogy on Saturday night.

Former and current world champions led by four-time division title holder Roberto Duran lead the list of distinguished fighters descending to this ritzy city by the dessert for Pacquiao-Bradley III.

Joining Duran are Mexican great and six-time world champion Julio Cesar Chavez, reigning World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight champion Jessie Vargas, and potential Pacquiao opponent Terrence Crawford, holder of the WBO junior welterweight crown.

Duran will also be in town to promote the upcoming true-to-life movie based on his life entitled Hands of Stone starring Edgar Ramirez, Usher Raymond, and Academy award-winner Robert De Niro.

“The one and only ‘Hands of Stone’ Roberto Duran will be arriving here in Las Vegas to watch the fight,” announced Top Rank promoter Bob Arum.

Likewise, the final season winner of ‘American Idol’ to be known on Thursday night (Friday, Manila time) will be making the first public appearance at the MGM.

“The winner will be here on fight night to sing the (US national anthem),” Arum added.

Guns ‘N Roses member Duff McKagan already beat everybody to the draw as he personally got to see Pacquiao himself on Wednesday (Thursday, Manila time) at the Top Rank office here.

McKagan and the rest of the legendary band are in Vegas for their highly-awaited reunion concert at the T-Mobile Arena on April 8 and 9 (US time).

Problem is, the event will be held simultaneously with Pacquiao’s third fight with Bradley.
