Pacquiao not appearing in Expendables 4, according to pal Sylvester Stallone
Stallone, the star of the Rocky film franchise, is one of Pacquiao's most vocal supporters and is friends with the Filipino fighter.

SYLVESTER Stallone dispelled rumors that Manny Pacquiao will make an appearance in the action movie Expendables 4.

According to TMZ Sports, Stallone said that Pacquiao, who has appeared in other films in his native Philippines and an international documentary, was never intended to take part in the movie, despite persistent rumors floating around that the Filipino boxing icon was given a role in the franchise’s latest edition.

Among those who have appeared in the Hollywood action franchise are Victor Ortiz, Randy Couture and Ronda Rousey who all had parts in Expendables 3.

Stallone was among the Hollywood A-List celebrities who were on the side of the Filipino fighter’s side in his megafight against Floyd Mayweather Jr. and was vocal in his support after the Pacman’s defeat.

Pacquiao is currently recuperating after having surgery for a tear on his right shoulder.
