LAS VEGAS - When the bell rings on Saturday (Sunday, Manila time), boxing fans around the world will see the best-ever version of Manny Pacquiao.

Buboy Fernandez guaranteed that the Pacquiao will be all over Floyd Mayweather from the opening bell and will be nothing like any southpaw the unbeaten American has faced or seen in the past.

May bagsakan ito,” Pacquiao’s assistant trainer and childhood pal told

“Isa lang sasabihin ko, 'pag nakadikit tayo, 'pag engage natin volume fire,” he added.

Fernandez, the only member of the Pacquiao entourage who has been with the boxing superstar in all his fights, said they will also take advantage of Mayweather's tendency to start slow.

So kailangan, dun pa lang engage na tayo,” he said.

Fernandez said Pacquiao is also ready to chase Mayweather if he runs.

The longtime trainer also hinted they will try to capitalize on Pacquiao’s terrific hand speed to keep Mayweather off balance - pointing to the 12-punch combo that Pacquiao unleashed against Miguel Cotto in 2009.

The aggresion will be there from the start, Fernandez assured, but not to the point of being careless.

Chief trainer Freddie Roach, meanwhile, can't be any happier with what he described as Pacman's perfect, distraction-free training camp.

“I have never seen Manny in the best shape like this one. I am happy,” said Roach, please to see Pacquiao do his homework - even review videos which he rarely does - for this fight.

“Manny is doing everything now. He is doing his homework. He would often call me to watch videos of Zab Judah and Mayweather. He has not done that before in 15 years,” said Roach.
