WITH the biggest fight of his boxing career barely a month away, Manny Pacquiao is unperturbed by the many distractions of his busy life.

The Filipino boxing star is set to move in a $12.5 million mansion four weeks before his May 2 showdown with the undefeated Floyd Mayweather in Las Vegas.

Even as Mayweather conducts a private training camp in Las Vegas surrounded only by his close circle of associates, the Pacman claims to enjoy the happenings and goings on surrounding him.

"It is busy," Pacquiao told USA Today. "But I like busy. It is good for me to have energy."

The amiable Pacquiao has met and even given time to fellow athletes and celebrities during his training sessions in Los Angeles.

The 36-year old boxer from General Santos City had dinner with quarterback and fellow devoted Christian Tim Tebow. Robert Duvall, Dave Chappelle and Lorraine Bracco are constant attendees in the gym where he trains.

Fellow boxers have dropped by, including middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin and Chatchai Sasakul, the former boxer whom Pacquiao defeated in Thailand in his first world title bout 17 years ago.

And there are the many Filipino fans who wait outside the gym each afternoon for a chance to see Pacquiao in person.

He conducts interviews in between training sessions and is scheduled to appear in Jimmy Kimmel's late-night show.

Distractions are not a new thing for Pacquiao, who aside from being a pugilist is also a congressman, a playing coach for a PBA team, an endorser of many brands, a television host and entertainer.

"You have to realize that Manny is used to a certain level of chaos, for want of a better word, in his life," said Bob Arum, his promoter at Top Rank.

“He is used to a certain level of activity. He has always had that in the Philippines and here, too. He wants people around him. He wants there to be a lot going on. He thrives on it.”
