BRISBANE, Australia - Manny Pacquiao is aware Jeff Horn holds a bachelor's degree in Education and was once a school teacher.

But the Philippine boxing legend also knows the young Australian will be the one taking lessons on Sunday, especially in an arena where the Filipino is considered a holder of a doctorate's degree.

The champion said he'll take care of business with his challenger when they clash for the welterweight championship of the World Boxing Organization (WBO) on Sunday at the Suncorp Stadium here.

Pacquiao was quick on the draw when asked on his thoughts about being educated by the former teacher turned rising Aussie boxing prospect in their 12-round title bout.

"All I can say is good, he's a teacher," said Pacquiao during the open media workout he had at the Suncorp Stadium on Tuesday.

"But I'm also a teacher in the ring," added the Filipino boxing great, bringing the house down with his reply.

Pacquiao has been fighting for more than two decades now, owns eight world title in as many weight divisions, carries a 59-6-3 record with 38 KOs, and is appearing in his 22nd world championship fight.

Horn is seeking his first world title against Pacquiao, who was already a world title holder by the time the Australian Olympian turned 10.

Pacquiao had just lost to Juan Manuel Marquez when Horn turned pro in 2013.

“Ten years ago, I was just starting boxing. I think I haven’t fought yet when he fought (Oscar) Dela Hoya,” said Horn on Monday.

Despite his seeming advantage in terms of experience, Pacquiao, who turns 39 six months from now, is not looking past his opponent, who took to boxing after he was being bullied as a kid.

“We don’t want to underestimate Horn thinking about another fight. This fight is not done yet,” said the boxing superstar as talks about a possible rematch with the comebacking Floyd Mayweather Jr., or reigning unified light welterweight champion Terrence Crawford.

The workout was a short one for Pacquiao, who was joined by his entire team of Freddie Roach, Justine Fortune, and the brother tandem of Buboy and Haplas Fernandez in the ring.

He only did three rounds of mitts with Roach, and then shadow boxed a little bit before calling it a day.

Before leaving the gym, Pacquiao signed some souvenirs and took photos with Australian fans, who patiently waited for him to finish his training.
