LAS VEGAS – The stars have descended to witness two of boxing’s biggest names today battle each other out for pride and glory in the so-called ‘Fight of the Century.’
From Hollywood actors to millionaire athletes, all of them made up part of the capacity crowd that filled in the MGM Grand Garden Arena to watch the highlight event of Super Saturday.
NBA greats Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson, Robert de Niro, Denzel Washington, Paris Hilton, Charles Barkley, Mark Wahlberg, Russel Westrbook, Claire Danes, Shane Mosley, Zab Judah, Evander Holyfield, among others, were some of the early birds who arrived for the exciting boxing card.
The Pacquiao-Mayweather welterweight title unification match capped a busy sports weekend featuring the 141st staging of the Kentucky Derby and Game Seven of the San Antonio Spurs-Los Angeles Clippers NBA first round playoff.
