LOS ANGELES – Actor Richard Gutierrez sees Manny Pacquiao finally handing Floyd Mayweather Jr his first career loss in their celebrated welterweight title showdown this weekend at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
And it’s not just going to be a win, but a knockout in favor of the Pacman.
“I think he’s going to nail him (Mayweather) down in the sixth round,” said Gutierrez after joining the Pacquiao family and the boxer’s entourage for lunch with wife Sarah Lahbati at the Kabuki Restaurant along Sunset Blvd.
The son of Eddie Gutierrez and Annabelle Rama who’s also into boxing and mixed martial arts, believes the 36-year-old boxing icon is in the best shape of his career heading to his May 3 (Manila time) fight against the unbeaten Mayweather.
“I haven’t seen him train like this before. I think he’s fit and ready for the fight,” said Gutierrez.
The matinee idol is the second known celebrity to predict a knockout win for Pacquiao.
Grammy award-winning rapper apl.de.ap came out earlier with a 10th-round knockout prediction for the Filipino boxing legend.
