LOS ANGELES - If Floyd Mayweather Junior will have teenage singing sensation Justin Bieber by his side come fight night, Manny Pacquiao has Fil-American singer Apl.de.ap in his corner.

The Fil-American singer and rapper, Allan Pineda in real life, has no doubt in his mind that Mayweather is bound to have the toughest night of his career on May 2 (May 3, Manila time) at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

“This is gonna be the most exciting fight ever. This is going to be the toughest time Mayweather’s gonna have. Manny’s gonna use his lateral movement,” said Pineda, one fourth of the Grammy-winning group Blackeyed Peas.

“I believe a hundred percent in Manny. This is going to be the first toughest and probably the first loss,” added the Pampanga-born celebrity.

Pineda’s latest composition, 'When You Fall Down You Gotta Get Back Up,' was inspired by Pacquiao’s latest rise from two losses including a stinging knockout defeat to Juan Manuel Marquez in 2012.

“Yeah, I just wrote another song for him. It’s about picking one’s self up after a fall,” he said.

“Sometimes you fall down, but you just can’t give up. It definitely defines Manny. And he has learned to bounce back after it. He had a tough fight against (Timothy) Bradley and (he beat Brandon) Rios (and Chris Algieri),” he added.

The song, which was part of the soundtrack of Pacquiao’s biopic, is among the songs being considered to be Pacman's anthem during the pre-fight ceremonies on Sunday.

And is Pacquiao ready to face somebody like an unbeaten Mayweather, Pineda was asked.

“I know he (Mayweather) is going to give his one hundred percent, but it’s going to be Manny’s (night) baby,” he said.
