    Manny Pacquiao refuses to spoil birthday fun by blocking all thoughts on 'loudmouth' Mayweather

    GENERAL SANTOS CITY – It’s his 36th birthday and definitely, Manny Pacquiao doesn’t want to spoil the fun.

    Pacquiao refused to dwell on the latest rant of rival Floyd Mayweather Jr. as the Filipino boxing icon spent the entire Wednesday enjoying his natal day in the company of family, friends, and constituents in the province of Sarangani.

    “I don’t want to talk and even think about him because it will only spoil my day,” said the reigning World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight champion prior to his grand birthday celebration at the KCC Mall here.

    Floyd Jr. was again on the attack mode the other day when he accused both Pacquiao and Top Rank promoter Bob Arum of 'fooling the public' on their long-anticipated fight.

    “We had the issues on drug testing, we offer him $40 million and they said no,” said Mayweather in an interview with ESPN Deportes. “In Boxing there is an A-Side and a B-Side, that’s how the business works. If you’re the B-side you have to take the B-side of negotiations."

    But to all these, the 37-year-old unbeaten fighter from Grand Rapids, Michigan has been consistent in calling out Pacquiao for a May 2 showdown.
