KYONUSUKE Kameda spoiled the ring comeback of Johnriel Casimero, hacking out a unanimous decision in their non-title, super-featherweight fight in Kyrgyzstan.

Kameda was hardly in trouble for the entire 10-round bout at the Bishkek Arena to win it by scores of 99-92, 98-92, and 97-93.

The 36-year-old Casimero ended up bloodied in his return to the ring after a one-year absence following a year-long suspension slapped on him by the Japan Boxing Commission for failing to make weight in his previous fight against Saul Sanchez.

He fell to a 34-5-1 record with 23 KOs, and his future remains doubtful at the moment especially in his pursuit for a mega-fight with two-time undisputed world champion Naoya Inoue.

While Casimero tried to take the fight to Kameda, the 27-year-old Japanese kept out of harm's way by taking advantage of his height and length, hitting Casimero with repeated jabs time and time again.
