JERWIN Ancajas will have a new opponent when he stakes anew his International Boxing Federation (IBF) super-flyweight championship on Dec. 7.
Ancajas is going to face Miguel 'Aguja' Gonzalez of Chile in Puebla, Mexico in the main undercard of the Emmanuel Navarrete-Francisco Horta super-bantamweight bout for the World Boxing Organization (WBO) title belt.
Gonzalez, 30, takes over the place of Mexican Jonathan Rodriguez, whose visa snafu caused the postponement of Ancajas' scheduled eighth title defense originally set last Nov. 2 in Carson, California.
The fight was later reset on Dec. 7 in Mexico.

But Top Rank Promotions made an announcement about the new Ancajas opponent Friday morning, which was later confirmed by the Filipino champion's trainer-manager Joven Jimenez.
