JERWIN Ancajas won by disqualification over Sukprased Ponpitak in their 10-round featherweight bout at the Mandaluyong College gym.
The former IBF super-flyweight champ scored the lone knockdown in the fight when he set up the Thai with a left hook right in the opening round.
But the bout wasn't stopped until the fifth round when the referee disqualified the 36-year-old Thai for repeatedly slamming and pushing Ancajas to the canvas.
Ponpitak was earlier deducted a point in the third round for the same infraction.
