LAS VEGAS - Manny Pacquiao's comeback fight may not have produced his desired result, but the boxing icon has millions of reasons to be happy with the majority draw decision in his Saturday (Sunday in Manila) fight against Mario Barrios giving his bank account a hefty raise.
The uber rich boxer, already one of the wealthiest in the country outside of multi-billionaire industrialists, added hundreds more millions to his coffers from the fight held in Las Vegas which marked his comeback after his last fight four years ago.

Figures vary, although he could fetch probably as much as one billion pesos when all the various sources of money are added up, the biggest of which is the reported $10-12 million as his purse for the fight.
The New York Times, in a pre-fight story, said Pacquiao will receive $12.5 million for the fight.
It is not clear, however, if he will have a share of the gate receipts with attendance reported at 13,107 at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas. There's also the pay-per-view share which has not been announced where it was gathered the fight drew millions, a great portion likely from the huge Filipino community in the US.

And also based from attendance, Pacquiao's comeback at age 46 proved he still can draw the crowd. He is, after all, an eight-time world champion and seeking his ninth against Barrios who staked his World Boxing Council welterweight title.
The fight ended in a majority draw with one judge for Barrios, 115-113, the two others scoring it all even at 114-114.
Based on conservative estimates, Pacquiao's earnings could reach north of $17 million, or close to a billion pesos, when his share in PPV buys and other earnings come in.
Not bad, huh?
Pacquiao's earnings in his last fight were not shabby, but they pale in what he normally received when he was at his peak. Against Floyd Mayweather, his purse was $20 million. The pay-per-view in that fight was gargantuan, the attendance massive and it remains the biggest fight ever.
Barrios meanwhile, is expected to receive additional earnings out of his guaranteed purse of $1 million - the biggest so far of his career.
The 30-year-old champion could see an additional upgrade of $2.5 million should the PPV sales proved to be a success.
