FLOYD Mayweather is happy in retirement, but as talks of a return to the ring persist eight months after his last fight, he says “you just never know.”

There has been talk of a purse “upwards of nine figures” against no specific opponent, and Mayweather looks to be open to further discussions.

"Everyone is asking me, 'Is Floyd Mayweather coming back?'" Mayweather was quoted as saying by ESPN.

"Right now, I'm happy being on this side, but I've been talking with CBS and Showtime, and you just never know. But right now, I'm just happy on this side."

"As of right now, some crazy numbers have been thrown my way -- upwards, of course, of nine figures," Mayweather told Showtime.

"But I'm truly blessed beyond belief, and I really don't know what we're going to do. But right now, I'm really happy being on this side helping our fighters."

Mayweather got to 49-0 with a decision over Andre Berto then officially hung his gloves up. Before that, he won by unanimous decision a lackluster match with Manny Pacquiao, who declared after the fight he was injured in training and aggravated it during the bout.

Undefeated Gennady Golovkin has been mentioned as a possible match, but Mayweather has waved off a leap to middleweight saying he cannot even make 154 lbs.
