As an early Christmas gift, Floyd Mayweather Jr. received a new pet tiger. Not a dog or a goldfish, but a tiger.
The retired boxer said on social media Thursday (Friday, Manila time) that the two-month old feline was a present from "@themoneyteamrussia."
Having a tiger for a pet reminds everyone of the same fixation another former boxing great Mike Tyson had. The youngest heavyweight champion ever also domesticated a pet tiger during his reign as the most feared fighter in the ring.
The flamboyant Mayweather posted a photo of him with the tiger and has asked his fans what name to give it.
