POPULAR talk show host Jimmy Kimmel sang the first few parts of Manny Pacquiao’s newly-released song ‘Lalaban Para sa Filipino’ in his top-rated ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ program on ABC.
By singing the Tagalog song to be used by the Filipino boxing champion as his entrance music for his May 2 mega-fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr. at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Kimmel got words of appreciation from no less than Pacquiao himself.
“Thank you @jimmykimmel for trying to sing my song ‘Lalaban Ako’ hehe,” wrote the boxing great on his Twitter account@MannyPacquiao.

Pacquiao and Kimmel have become friends through the years, with the Filipino lefty making regular appearances in the American's talk show every time he has a fight in the US.
Also in a video posted on his Twitter account, Pacquiao said he also looks forward to a scheduled guesting in Kimmel’s show next week.
“I’m excited to be in your show next week,” Pacquiao said.
