LOS ANGELES – As the highly-awaited fight against Floyd Mayweather Jr. draws near, Manny Pacquiao assured everybody, from close friends to people in his camp, that everything is going smoothly and things will fall into place come May 3 (Manila time) when two of boxing’s biggest names finally square off inside the ring.

“Relax lang kayo. Huwag kayong ma-tense, hindi naman kayo ang lalaban, e,” said Pacquiao on Sunday, when he took a break from training camp that is now into its sixth week.

The 36-year-old Pacquiao had to allay all these fears with less than two weeks heading into the match the world has been longing to see.

And proof he’s relaxed and has nothing to worry about, Pacquiao was busy as a bee on his rest day, attending one event after the other as if he’s not about to face the biggest fight of his life 13 days from now.
