BOB Arum says Manny Pacquiao is set to return to boxing but won’t be available for the Oct. 15 date earlier reserved at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

The Top Rank boss said the schedule could be pushed around two weeks.

"The question is building availability because we want to do the fight in Las Vegas."

"We had penciled him in for October 15 at Mandalay Bay but we were informed that is no longer possible because he has to spend that week leading up to October 15 formulating the budget in the senate and doing the votes," Arum said in a report by ESPN.com's Dan Rafael.

"So he has to be there for that week, so that knocks out that week. He can't mess around with that. So now we're looking at October 29 or November 5," said Arum.

Arum said Pacquiao had indicated he will return to boxing as long as it won't be a conflict with his duties in the Senate.

"Manny wants to come back," said Arum. "The problem is he can only come back if it doesn't interfere with his senate duties."

Pacquiao previously announced his fight against Timothy Bradley would be his last as he will concentrate on his political career. He later elected senator in May.
