YOUNG bloods AJ Manas and Bernie Regalario continue to show maturity beyond their age, advancing to the Philippines Open Pool Championship quarterfinals on Friday at Gateway Mall in Cubao.
Manas, the 18-year-old prodigy, rolled through Paolo Gallito, 10-4, as he sustained his dream run coming off his MVP performance from the Reyes Cup.

The 20-year-old Regalario, meanwhile, got the better of Hanoi Open champion Pijus Labutis of Lithuania in a 11-6 win.
Hong Kong-born Pinoy Robbie Capito also marched on to the Final Eight as he got the better of Emil Gangflot of Norway, 10-9.
Gangflot had the win in the bag but he failed to pot the 9 in their hill-hill battle, allowing Capito to steal the victory and a face off with Regalario.

Jayson Shaw of Scotland remains one of the favorites after knocking off Patric Gonzales, 10-6, and arranging a quarters date against Manas.
Arseni Sevastyanov of Finland is also through after a 10-5 conquest of Jefrey Roda, as he drew a quarterfinal pairing against Roland Garcia, who booted out Eric Navarrete, 10-6.
David Alcaide of Spain completed the quarterfinals cast with a 10-7 win over Michael Baoanan as he turns his attention to Jeffrey Ignacio, who beat Harry Vergara, 10-8.
