TEAM Rest of the World moved on the cusp of claiming the crown in the Roobet Reyes Cup after Day Three action against Team Asia on Saturday at Makati Coliseum.
Continuing their dominant form, the visitors grabbed a 9-4 lead after Aleksa Pecelj beat Team Asia spearhead AJ Manas, 5-1, in their singles match.
Team ROW can now put the event under wraps on Sunday, needing just two more wins to capture their first title in three editions of the tournament named in honor of Filipino billiards legend Efren 'Bata' Reyes.

Struggles continued for Starboy, none more costly than his scratch on the 1 in rack 6 that allowed the Serbian to do easy pickings and put an early finish to the night.
It was just a glimpse of the continued dominance for Team ROW in this race-to-11 event as Team Asia failed to keep up, no thanks to another error-strewn day.
That started in the team match where the visitors once again claimed the 5-3 win.
With the match tied at 3-all, Manas had a tough miss on the 4 which allowed Francisco Sanchez Ruiz to clean the table up and get his team to the hill.
Duong Quoc Hoang also made the same mistake in rack 8, leaving an open shot at the 5 for Shane Van Boening for the victory.
Fedor Gorst added to the pressure with a 5-1 win over Albert Januarta in the second singles match. The Indonesian's dry break on rack 5 put him in danger as "The Ghost" made an excellent jump on the 2 to go up, 4-1.
Januarta had another chance in the next rack, but he also left an open shot on the 2 before Gorst finished up the duel with a magnificent long pot on the 9.
Team Asia's only win came in the doubles match as Januarta and Carlo Biado got the better of Gorst and Joshua Filler, 5-3.
As Team ROW rallied back from a 3-1 deficit and knotted the score at three racks apiece, Filler attempted an audacious 2-9 combo but Januarta would respond with a nice long pot in the 2 followed up by Biado's 3-9 combo to get to the hill.
Januarta sealed the doubles match with his second golden break in three days.
