THE Philippines moved to the semifinals of the 2022 Predator World Teams 10-Ball Championship with a 3-1 victory over Poland on Saturday in Klagenfurt, Austria.
Rubilen Amit and Johann Chua were responsible for the victories as the Philippines will be taking on Germany on Sunday where the championship will also be held.

Amit beat Oliwia Zalewska, 4-1, and teamed up with Chua to defeat Zalewska and Tomasz Kaplan, 4-0. Chua finished off the match with a 4-0 blanking over Wojciech Szewczyk, avenging the 4-2 defeat of Carlo Biado.

Germany defeated Spain, 3-1, to reach the semifinals and a match-up against the Philippines after Pia Filler won over Amalia Matas, 4-2, Thorsten Hohmann beat Francisco Sanchez Ruiz, 4-2, and Joshua Filler defeated Ruiz, 4-0.
The other semifinal pairing will pit Great Britain against Chinese Taipei.
In the Women’s 10-Ball Championship, Chezka Centeno was ousted in the quarterfinal, losing to Kelly Fisher of Great Britain, 9-6.
