    Perpetual notches first win at expense of JRU

    NOSA Omorogbe had 28 points, and the University of Perpetual Help finally notched its first win by beating Jose Rizal University, 84-59, on Wednesday in the Filoil Flying V Hanes Premier Cup at The Arena in San Juan.

    The Nigerian also had eight rebounds and three blocks to send the Altas to their first win in four outings.

    Justin Alano had 14 points while Harold Arboleda grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds for Perpetual Help, which is now tied with JRU in the standings.

    The Altas outscored the Heavy Bombers, 26-14, in the second quarter for a 46-31 halftime lead.

    Philip Mabulac had 12 points for JRU.
