DENNIS Orcollo will be the lone player carrying the country’s tri-colors in the World Pool Masters slated October 5 to 7 in Kielce, Poland.
Alex Pagulayan has also been invited but will represent Canada as the eighth-ranked player.
Orcollo, coming off his title conquest in the China Open 9-Ball tournament, was one of 15 pool artists who were invited to the prestigious tournament.
Seeded fourth, Orcollo will face lone female player Kelly Fisher in the first round.
Former world pool champion Ralf Souquet of Germany has been named top seed.
Also seeing action are reigning world 9-ball champion Darren Appleton, Nick Van Den Berg, Ko Pin-Yi, Li Hewen, Shane Van Boening, Mateusz Sniegocki, Raj Hundal, Radoslaw Babica, Wojciech Szewczyk, Omar Al Shaheen, Karol Skowerski, and Tony Drago.
The $66,000 tournament offers $20,000 to the champion.
