A VIDEO of an 11-year-old player winning a rack over Efren ‘Bata’ Reyes has been making the rounds on Facebook.
Israel Rota, a Filipino billiards player based in Qatar, posted on Facebook a 10-ball match between what looks to be his son, named Keane Derek Rota, and the billiards legend known all over the world as ‘The Magician.’
In the video of the 'Bata' meets bata match, Reyes, 61, is seen pocketing the first few balls until the former world champion lost his turn by missing a straightforward shot to the corner pocket.
That’s where the younger Rota took over and showed off his skills on the table, cleaning up the rack to the delight of a handful of people watching the game.
Reyes himself was impressed as he applauded the kid 50 years younger than him after he finished the rack.
As of posting time, the video has already gained more than 30,000 views and 600 shares on Facebook. Watch the video below.
