CHEZKA Centeno defeated Kelly Fisher, 11-8, on Sunday to claim the 2016 Amway eSpring International Women's 9-ball Championship in Taiwan.
Centeno overcame a 1-5 deficit to pull off the come-from-behind victory against the 37-year-old Englishwoman in one of her finest performances of her young career.
The 16-year-old Centeno comes home $34,000 (P1.57 million) richer for winning the crown of the tournament competed in by 40 players.
Centeno, a former world junior champion, also won a gold medal in last year's Southeast Asian Games in Singapore.
