NATIONAL University drubbed Arellano University, 86-71, on Saturday to grab its seventh straight win in as many games and book a ticket to the quarterfinals of the FilOil Flying V Pre Season Hanes Cup at the Arena in San Juan.
The defending champion managed to stay ahead despite a messy first half — taking a 43-39 lead while registering 17 turnovers in the first 20 minutes.

Alfred Aroga had 12 points, Parks scored seven and Jayjay Alejandro came up with six in the last 20 minutes of play to lead the Bulldogs to their win.

Aroga had a game-high 22 points, while Alejandro added 12 and Denice Villamor contributed 10 for NU. Parks finished with nine.
"It's not just the individual, it's the team," said the Bulldogs center Aroga. "I just try to give my own contribution."
