RUBILEN Amit has been selected as part of the Asia team in the Queens Cup set November 5 to 7 at the Resorts World Casino in Pasay City.
Amit will be joined in the squad by Korea’s Ga Young Kim against the Europe-United States team captained by Kelly Fisher of United Kingdom.
Other members of each team will still be announced.
The tournament is similar to the Ryder Cup of golf and the Mosconi Cup of billiards with the first team reaching 10 victories in 10-ball matches with singles, doubles, triples, and 4-on-4 slated to be declared champion.
Amit won the world 10-ball crown in 2009.
