XAVIER School won its games across five age-groups in the continuation of the Milcu Got Skills Summer Showcase basketball tournament at the Xavier Gym and AMA Gym.
Miguel Tan finished with 34 points and 20 rebounds as the Golden Stallions beat Taytay Basketball, 66-61, in the 13-and-under division.
In the 12-and-under tournament, Marcus Vanstraten scored 11 points to lead Xavier past Hoopin Team, 59-28, while Nico Tan tallied 16 points as Xavier’s 10-and-under squad beat Marist, 43-40.
Martin Sadhwani finished with 19 points as Xavier beat Pinoy Youth Dreamers, 70-40, in the 15-and-under division while Lance Alandy Dy scored 14 points for the Golden Stallions in their 52-51 win over Hoopin Team in the 14-and-under event of the tournament supported by LGR Sports Wear, Magic 89.9, Gatorade, Blackwater Sports and Kawasaki.
In other matches, McSteven Esguerra finished with 33 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and three steals to lead Taytay Basketball to a 54-49 win over De La Salle-Zobel in the 13-and-under tournament.
Arturo Oliva scored 16 points, four rebounds, and two steals as San Beda Rizal A beat National University, 55-51 in the 15-and-under.
Yuan Inigo Crisologo finished with 11 points and nine rebounds as Skyhawk South Ballers beat ISBB-Lucena, 39-39, in the 12-and-under division.
