FOULS once again proved to be Pasig Chooks' undoing in the 2019 Fiba 3x3 World Tour Poitiers Challenger, losing to world No. 16 Kranj, 22-11, late Saturday evening (Manila time) at Plaza de Leclerc in France.

Igor Tratnik capped off his 10-point performance with the game-winning deuce with 2:26 to go as the Slovenians dashed the Filipinos' hopes of booking a spot to the Lausanne Masters in August.

Kranj punished Pasig Chooks' foul spree, converting five of its six free throws to take a 19-11 lead before Mensud Julevic and Tratnik finished off the match.

Julevic added six markers, as the team shot a total of 12 freebies off of 13 fouls.

Taylor Statham paced Pasig Chooks with five points as Pasig exited at the quarterfinal stage.

Dylan Ababou added three, while Nikola Pavlovic got two as he helped Pasig get to its closest at three, 11-14, with 3:39 left before going to penalty at 2:59 remaining.
