THE Women’s National Basketball League is taking steps to form teams through a player draft.
The league hopes to hold the draft in October, posting the application form for the draft on the league’s Facebook account NBL-Pilipinas.
Players aged 21 to 40 years old can send applications to email@example.com.
Details are still being ironed out but the league said it intends to hold a combine before draft day.
The WNBL recently got the approval from the Games and Amusements Board (GAB) to operate as a professional league.
The WNBL recently appointed former University of the Philippines cager Bea Daez-Fabros as ambassador.
