THE Weillington team of New Zealand gained some Filipino fans on Saturday when it wowed the Smart-Araneta Coliseum crowd with the famous Haka before its MVP Cup game against Gilas Pilipinas.
The Saints, a top club from New Zealand, looked fierce as they performed the traditional war dance after the singing of their national anthem before an appreciate audience.
“It’s our way to accept the challenge of the opponent,” Saints forward Damien Ekenasio said.
