UNIVERSITY of the East breaks in its retooled line-up when the Red Warriors play Southwestern University in one of three seniors games set Wednesday in the Filoil Flying V Hanes Premier Cup at The Arena in San Juan.

The Red Warriors face the Cobras at 2:30 p.m. in the second game of a tripleheader.

UE occupied the bottom of the team standings in its previous UAAP campaign, but showed a lot of promise for the coming season.

The Red Warriors obtained La Salle Greenhills high school star Mario Bonleon during the offseason, while Arellano transferee Charles Mammie is already eligible to play in the UAAP.

The multi-titled school also has several holdovers from last season including scoring leader Roi Sumang, Chris Javier, and Adrian Santos.

The Cobras, meanwhile, lost their first game against Ateneo, 72-77, in the opener last Saturday.

In other games, Ateneo goes for its second straight win against new-look San Sebastian at 4:15 p.m.
